The expedition

The same legendary coast, sailed the other way. You leave the karst towers of Bacuit Bay behind and spend three days and two nights working south through Palawan’s wildest waters, until the quiet bay of Port Barton opens ahead of the bow. It is the rare trip that ends somewhere calmer than it began, and many guests plan it that way on purpose.

Where you’ll roam

Every departure sails the same four stretches of coast, and each stretch holds more good stops than one day can use. The crew picks among them each morning, with the tide, the wind, and the coast guard’s advisory in hand. Southbound, the stretches unfold in reverse:

Bacuit Bayyou sail out of El Nido between the limestone islands, the busiest water of the trip, and the last crowds you’ll see.
Malampaya Sound and the Taytay coastthe wild heart of the route, dolphin and dugong country with no resorts and no signal.
Long Beach and the empty shorelinethe Philippines’ longest beach slides past for an afternoon.
The San Vicente islands and Port Barton Bayreefs, sandbars, and the slow arrival into the calmest town on the coast.

The route adapts to the weather and the tide, and the coast guard clears every departure.
In case the coast guard or the weather cancels a departure, you get a full refund, or you can reschedule or use your payment as credit for any of our other tours.
