Explore the Wild Coast of Palawan

Slow down in the peaceful bay of Port Barton, then set out on a multi-day expedition along Palawan's wild west coast. Sleep on deserted islands, snorkel reefs you'll have to yourselves, and travel the coastal route between Port Barton and El Nido, the slow way north that few boats take.

Where the adventure awaits

Port Barton still moves at its own pace. Stay a few days and you'll find what the bigger towns lost years ago: a beach you can walk end to end in about fifteen minutes, water so clear it barely looks real, and an evening pace that runs on sunsets rather than bar playlists.

We've been running island expeditions across Palawan since 2015. Port Barton is where our coastal expedition to El Nido sets out, and where the southbound trip comes home. Either way, it's a slow route through islands that rarely make the guidebooks, and it's worth every minute.

Port Barton to
El Nido

For three days and two nights, the boat follows the wildest stretch of Palawan's western shore. You drift up mangrove rivers, wade onto deserted sandbars, and snorkel reef walls that drop away into deep blue.

Almost nobody comes here, and that's the whole point. This is raw, authentic Palawan, the archipelago's last frontier, and you get to explore it with a team that has spent ten years perfecting this kind of expedition.

Island hopping, the
Port Barton way

Two group tours leave from Port Barton beach: a full day of island hopping, or a land trip through the San Vicente backroads. Every trip runs in a small group with a licensed guide. The island hopping also runs as a private tour, if you would rather have the boat to yourselves.
